Wait for Your Time
Cracked Christian – Wait for your time
If you’ve haven’t had a chance to check out my personal testimony, please check out the first episode of my series “Fill, Heal & Restore” and also the first installment of Cracked Christian titled “manifesting in your mess”. Those videos will give you an overview of my life and lead into today’s video.
Rebuilding from rock bottom is hard. Entrepreneurship is hard. Pursuing your passion is hard. This is especially so in the beginning when it’s hard to garner support. Recently a friend of mine and I were having a talk expressing our grievances in regards to how there’s an automatic level or respect and consideration that you receive from others when you’re “on top” versus when you’re starting out. This is true whether its family, friends, peers, social media acquaintances or industry professionals.
I started to feel like because I’m the newbie and I was easily disregarded and overlooked when it came to getting interviews, promos, support.. etc
After the “manifesting in Mess” debacle and just needing some validation somewhere I was eager for elevation.
I’m not gonna lie, I was most certainly starting to let offense, bitterness and strife take root toward those who I felt were playing games and not serious about working with me or blatantly ignoring me.
My mind was telling me that they’re doing this because you aren’t important. You’re not worthy. You haven’t been validated.
I’d been asking folks for interviews and getting the run around, asking to check out the show or promo the show. I was getting so heated and even more eager for my “Glo up” so that I could stunt and start hard.
Well God put me right back in my place really quickly. He made me question myself and my motives. “Why did you start” “Did you start to be obedient to your assignment and follow purpose or get worldly validation”
It was a much needed reality check to:
1. allow me to refocus and get my heart and spirit back in alignment with God.
2. To never insult God by thinking I need validation from man when he created man and he elevated them. He’s well able to elevate me.
3. Wait for my time. We just discussed how manifesting things before time can be disastrous. Malachi 3:11 speaks of Fruit being devoured if cast before time.
4. If God gave me the vision, he will give provision. If he gave you the plan, he will provide the people and the pathway to prosper.
So if you find yourself feeling similarly, don’t get in your feelings. Get back in alignment with God. Get in your word. Get in prayer. Get back in your purpose. Then at the right time you’ll be sitting pretty and in purpose where you were destined to be.
I talk about it more on the video below.. 💛
